Design icon and eye opener: the BR 02 sofa bed by Martin Visser. Designed in 1960 and has not been out of production for a day since. Because of the clear construction and timeless design language, this design is made to transcend generations! In one single movement, the sofa can be converted into a single sofa bed, ideal for the creation of an extra sleeping place.

The BR 02 sofa has a round tubular frame, matt chrome plated or black epoxy coated, and many possibilities in the upholstery department. Due to the sleek shapes of the design we recommend a stretchable fabric such as wool, the best way to show off the shape. The sofa can also be upholstered in leather. Because leather is not elastic, space remains in the upholstery. Whereas an elastic fabric returns to its original shape, leather can crease.
